Catching up with a close mate is always fun, especially when you haven’t seen them in ages therefore as my friend was around the Borough Market area for the day we decided to meet for lunch at Bills Restaurant.
Bills Restaurant is tucked away in Clink Street, around the corner from the famous Borough Market. As soon as we walked in we felt at home, it’s very cosy, lovely chandeliers and candles, with seating available outside making it perfect for a nice sunny day.

A good thing about Bills is that it serves, breakfast (till noon), lunch and dinner which a great selection to choose from including a full English breakfast, burgers, and mains like risotto. We both decided on a glass of house rose (£3.95) and selected the ‘Halloumi and Hummus Burger’ (£8.95) with baby gem lettuce, roasted peppers, sweet chilli and yoghurt in a grilled sesame seed bun, served with skinny fries.

Once the food arrived we dived straight onto the burgers, they were delish, the halloumi was cooked to perfection and the yoghurt made a good alternative to mayonnaise the ingredients were all fresh and the portion size was perfect. All in all the service and atmosphere at Bills was perfect, I highly recommend it, especially the breakfast menu which people rave on about, I will definitely be re-visiting Bills restaurant it has the deelicioulsy stamp of approval.
