For a work colleagues leaving lunch, the girls and I decided to check out The Cut Bar restaurant in Southwark, and I’m so glad that we did.
The Cut is spread over two floors, with a theatre, bar, restaurant and open terrace, the interior is modern with art work throughout the restaurant. As it was a sunny afternoon in London, we decided to sit on the air terrace; they don’t do reservations for the terrace so we were lucky to have found a table for 4 as it was very busy.

The menu is great, with a lot of variety serving breakfast, lunch and dinner where all food is prepared fresh with organic suppliers. From 12-5pm they have the Triple Cut deal where you can either choose a Grilled Organic Portobello, East Sussex Beef, Free Range Chicken Breast or Finnan Haddock Fishcakes served in a Brioche Bun or Naked with Chips or Salad, with a soft drink (£9.95) or a beer (£11.95)
From our diners, two opted for the beef and the other diner and I opted for the fish. Service was quick and efficient, and the food arrived in good time, which was good as we were all starving. And I must say it all looked very great and tasted even better. The fishcakes were cooked to perfection, and the tartar sauce complimented it very well. All our meals were of high standard and tasted great with a good portion size.

The Cut Bar is a great place for drinks and food alike. The open terrace is a nice welcome on a sunny day, the food and service is super, I will definitely be going back. The Cut Bar gets a deeliciously.com stamp of approval for sure.
