I’m finally getting married this summer 2015, so we headed to a wedding fayre at our wedding reception in Welwyn Garden City. After this we ended up finding The White Horse pub around the area for a spot of lunch.

As it was a Sunday it was heaving with people. We had no reservations so had to wait for a table, which was first come first served. Whilst we waited we ordered a few drinks, and also got talking to the the bar manager who was lovely.
Inside the pub was nice too, with a country style interior and outdoor seating available which would be ace on a hot day. After a few fights with the table (not literally) we got seated.

Being a Sunday there was only one thing that we all wanted and that was a Sunday Roast! I decided on the chicken, the other two diners opted for the lamb and my fiance went for the fish cake topped with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce.

Although the pub was lovely it wasn’t the best roast, I was disappointed with the trimmings, bu overall the service was good and the pub makes a great spot for lunch in the summer.
