GOGO Waterfront Restaurant Review, Windsor

Love, love finding new places to eat, so my Fiance treated me to a spot of lunch at the GOGO Waterfront Restaurant in Windsor for a belated birthday treat.

He had booked in advance, which is worth doing as weekends seem busy especially if the weather is nice. On arrival to GOGO we loved the outside view of the waterfront. We were taken to our table; the interior is modern, with wooden tables and a few tables outside.

We decided on a bottle of wine, followed by the salt and pepper calamari (£6.95) with sweet chili mayonnaise for starters which was very fresh and tasty.

Onto the mains my fiance chose the Espetadas, a skewer of meat suspended above your side order with garlic butter trickling into the bowl, chicken (£16.95) and I had the salmon and haddock fish cakes served with chunky chips and a tomato rocket and mint salad (£13.95) which was on the specials menu that day.

We were both very much impressed by how tasty the dishes were. Even through its simplicity the mint salad was delicious, and I can’t wait to re-create it at home. After the lovely meal we decided to take our wine bottle and sit outdoors to admire the scenery, it was all very lovely and romantic.

Overall I absolutely loved GOGO’s Waterfront restaurant, the service, food and exterior was all fab and I would definitely be back.
