Work lunches can get a tad boring, but when a group lunch is organised it’s always fun to try something different, so we ended up at Thai Silk.
Thai Silk is located just near Southwark Station, just next door to the EV restaurant. On arrival, the restaurant is dark, with red décor and wooden tables and chairs. The restaurant was busy, but staff were very speedy, which was great.

Having looked through the variety of dishes available on the menu we all decided to go for Thai Silk’s signature lunch deal, which for £6.95 you get a choice of starter; chicken satay, vegetable spring rolls or sweetcorn cake. And a choice of main course served with rice or noodles; chilli beef, sweet and sour chicken, green curry or stir-fried mixed vegetables.
For £6.95, the choices are great; I opted for chicken satay followed by the green curry with chicken and rice. The other options for our table included vegetable spring rolls, chilli beef and sweet and sour chicken.

I must say that was one of the best chicken stays eve had in a while, the peanut sauce that accompanied it was absolutely delicious, and my main meal was delish too. The other diners loved their choices too.
Overall Thai silk makes a great option for lunch or dinner and we have been back again. I highly recommend you to try it out too.
