One place that myself and my girly mates have been meaning to visit is the Choccywoccydoodah cafe. So that is exactly what we did on a Saturday girly day out we went to go see what the fuss was about.

Choccywoccydoodah is a specialist cake shop and cafe, with branches in Brighton as well as the one that we visited in London Carnaby Street. On arrival there was a queue to the cafe so we decided to head out for a spot of lunch and then come back which I’m glad we did as we only waited 15 minutes for a table.
If you are not visiting the cafe you are allowed to browse the store, where you will see specialist cakes which are crafted so well, lots of chocolate and sweet treats, to choose from and take home.

A table at the cafe was ready for us so we headed upstairs, not sure what I was expecting but you will understand why they are always queues with only around six tables available so it’s pretty small. The interior is nothing special, but the staff are very friendly even though the service was a bit slow.

We were handed out a menu on our table which was a blackboard;

We then decided to share the dipping pot for £5.99 which included a pot of milk chocolate served with strawberries, marshmallows, honey crumble and a few others. My friend also opted for a hot chocolate.

Overall I’m not sure what the fuss is about, the dipping pot was good but I wasn’t keen on the presentation. If you’re a huge fan of cakes and chocolate then I would check Choccywoccydoodah for the experience, however it’s not somewhere that I would go again and its definitely not worth the queues.
